Better Together

A Three-Part Workshop Series for Teen Girls & the Women Who Love Them

Adolescence is a season of tremendous growth, change, and self-discovery. While these years can be exciting, they can also bring increased stress, emotional challenges, and communication barriers for both teens and the adults who care for them.

Better Together is a thoughtfully designed three-part workshop series that helps strengthen confidence, communication, emotional resilience, and family connection. Through a unique combination of nervous system regulation, mindfulness, gentle movement, interactive discussion, and experiential learning, participants will gain practical tools to navigate the complexities of adolescence with greater confidence and compassion.

Each 90-minute session offers a supportive, welcoming environment where participants can learn, reflect, and grow—both individually and together. No yoga or movement experience is necessary. Participants are simply encouraged to come with an open mind and a willingness to connect.

Session One: Teen Girls
Finding Your Voice

This girls-only workshop provides a safe, encouraging space for teens to explore the challenges they face while discovering their own inner strength. Together, we’ll discuss topics such as friendships, self-esteem, social media, anxiety, boundaries, and emotional wellness while introducing practical tools that promote resilience and self-confidence.

Participants will experience:

  • Gentle movement and nervous system regulation techniques

  • Confidence-building activities

  • Honest conversations about friendships, peer pressure, emotions, and identity

  • Practical coping strategies for managing stress and everyday challenges

Session Two: The Women Who Love Them
Leading with Connection

Designed for mothers, grandmothers, aunts, stepmothers, and other trusted caregivers, this workshop provides valuable insight into the emotional and neurological development of adolescent girls. Participants will learn effective communication strategies that foster trust, strengthen relationships, and reduce conflict while also exploring the importance of caring for their own well-being.

Participants will experience:

  • Gentle movement and stress-reduction practices

  • Education on the adolescent nervous system and emotional development

  • Communication techniques that encourage trust and openness

  • Practical tools for responding with confidence, empathy, and compassion

Session Three: Better Together
Moving, Connecting & Growing Together

The final session brings teens and their trusted adults together for a meaningful shared experience focused on strengthening their relationship. Through partner movement, mindfulness practices, interactive activities, guided reflection, and authentic conversation, families will deepen understanding, build trust, and create lasting memories while developing skills they can continue using long after the workshop concludes.

Participants will experience:

  • Partner yoga and mindful movement

  • Connection and communication exercises

  • Guided reflection and shared discussion

  • Practical strategies for nurturing stronger, healthier relationships at home

Throughout the Series, Participants Will Explore:

  • Building confidence and healthy self-esteem

  • Emotional awareness and nervous system regulation

  • Effective communication skills

  • Managing stress and anxiety

  • Establishing healthy boundaries

  • Strengthening trust and meaningful connection

  • Developing lifelong relationship skills

Better Together is built on the understanding that healthy relationships begin with emotional awareness and connection. When we learn to regulate our nervous systems, communicate with intention, and truly listen to one another, we create stronger families, greater resilience, and deeper relationships that continue to grow long after the workshops end.

Because when we grow together, we thrive together.
